Carl Breske

Beloved husband and father, Carl Breske, 70, of Temperance, Mich., passed away on Tuesday at Toledo Hospital from an intraventricular brain hemorrhage. He was born on May 11, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to parents Raymond and Delphine (Dobrzykowski) Breske. Carl graduated from Bedford High School in 1966 and attended Adrian College until he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968. He served aboard the U.S.S. Newport News until 1972. He married Margaret Folk on July 28, 1972, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ida. An electrician by trade, he retired from Ford Motor Company in 2008 and Neapco in March 2015. Carl is survived by his wife, Marge (Folk) Breske; two daughters, Ericka (Ryan) Lucas and Tara Breske; granddaughter, Madelyn Lucas; sister, Diane (Breske) Murphy; brother, Rodney Breske; mother-in-law, Irene Folk; sister-in-laws, Bonnie (Bill) Berry and Robin (Bob) Burkett; brother-in -laws, Jim (Connie) , Jeff (Beth), Brian (Christine) and John (Sally) Folk; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Delphine Breske; father-in-law, Alva Folk Jr.; brother-in-law, Butch Murphy; sister-in-law, Kathy Breske; and brother-in-law, Joseph Folk.
Friends may call at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, (at Jackman Rd.) Temperance, Michigan from 4:00 – 8:00pm Friday, November 9, 2018 with scripture service at 7:30pm.
Funeral services on Saturday will begin at 10:00am when Carl will lie In state at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, Michigan with the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am.
